The First Post: Introducing Time Capital Solutions

To quote famed sports announcer Jim Nantz:

“Hello Friends, Welcome”

This my first blog post, ever, and it has followed a long string of firsts in my life recently, with the biggest one being the founding of Time Capital Solutions. I write this to serve as an introduction to the next phase of my career.

What is Time Capital Solutions?

Time Capital Solutions is an accounting advisory firm focused on providing outsourced accounting and finance solutions to small business, startups, and nonprofit organizations.

Why Did I Start Time Capital Solutions?

After spending eight years in public accounting, I realized one common recurring issue among my clients:

Small businesses and nonprofit organizations often struggle with the efficient management of their accounting and finance function to ensure that data used for reporting and decision-making is accurate and reliable. This usually led to an inefficient use of time and resources, as well as ineffective decision-making.

Like many in my profession, I would often find myself providing clients with management letter comments or recommendations alluding to this issue, but unable to provide practical solutions to resolve the issue. As one could expect, this became extremely frustrating for the client and myself, so I decided to figure out a solution, which lead to the founding of Time Capital Solutions.

What Solutions Do I Offer?

I am a Gary Vaynerchuk follower and after consuming a large amount of his content, I realized a common theme behind his message—self-awareness is critical, and once you are self-aware of your strengths and weaknesses, you should go all in on your strengths and outsource your weaknesses. So naturally, I developed a business model that would allow business owners and organizational leaders the opportunity to leverage their strengths, and outsource a common weakness: their accounting and finance function.

Our service provides businesses and organizations the opportunity to have accurate and timely information, at a price point below the cost of a traditional accounting department. In addition, our services are designed to provide business owners and organization leaders more time focus on their business or organization's growth and development. By using our service, business and organization leaders are empowered by having the peace of mind that their accounting and finance is properly managed to ensure the data being received is timely, accurate, and reliable. In addition, the time saved from outsourcing this traditional in-house service allows business and organization leaders to focus on core strengths and values so that their business or organization reaches its full potential.

Why Should a Business or Organization Use My Service?

To quote Thomas Edison, “Time is the only capital a human being has, and the only thing he can’t afford to lose.”

The goal of the solutions we provide is to give businesses and organizations more of the capital that was so valued by Thomas Edison: time. Whether that be time to focus on another aspect of their business or another aspect of their life, our solutions give leaders the opportunity to outsource tasks that waste time and resources. Our solutions are focused on understanding the issues that organizations and individuals face. Our goal is to solve these issues in order to give business and organization leaders more time to work on their business rather than in their business. We aim to be a trusted business advisor that business and organization leaders value and rely on in order to reach their goals and aspirations. Your business or organization’s success is our number one priority.

In closing, I will leave you with this; we all have one thing in common, we all have 24 hours in a day. The business and organization leaders who make the most productive use of their 24 hours are the businesses and organizations that are going to be successful and affect the most change in their mission. Therefore, I have to ask you... what will you do with your time today?
